Paper Craftsman.Mobile Phone Holder

In this workshop, the participants will be working in groups to discuss, using paper to make a mobile phone holder for each participant. The instructor will show participants the holistic view of the prototype production process.

Starting from an idea (improving the experience of watching at mobile phones), then drawing sketches and design drawings, and then to implement prototypes, and add new features (can be inserted a charging cable). After completing the entire workshop, participants will get a phone stand made by themselves, and they can also integrate their experience through discussion. And also encourage participants to ask for help when encountering problem. The speaker will also introduce some 3D printing methods that are becoming more and more popular today, to arouse participants’ interest in learning.

Participants could submit their works completed in the No Kidding! workshops to enter the “No Kidding! HKDA Kids Design Thinking Awards 2020” competition! They just need to fill out the submission form of the Awards competition with an elaboration of the ideas of their entries plus several photos of the works. After completing the workshop, Parents or Guardians will receive an email from the organizer about the detailed arrangements.
