Funky Rain Gear

Funky Rain Gear

“Are rain gears simply defined as raincoats and umbrellas? In rainy days, what kind of waterproof device can a deliveryman wear to help him not get wet when delivering food? How do you help a stray cat from not hiding? What designs can help a bike rider who cannot free his hands to hold umbrella? What if a skydiver suddenly encounters heavy rain? Dozens of unexpected quirky cases are there to twist kids’ brains. Participants can learn to be problem-solving masters, who can design a variety of interesting waterproof devices.

OBJECTIVES: Daily Life Observation – Collect waterproof raincoats from daily life. Observe the shapes and materials, think about the relationship between their functions and appearances.
